Transportation to Santa Teresa Mal Pais Costa Rica
By car: If you decide to drive it will take you five or six hours from San José or Liberia, including a short journey by ferry. We can provide you with car rental facilities. If you do not want to drive we may book a taxi for you. You are strongly recommended to be in Puntarenas an hour before the ferry leaves.

By air: You may fly from San José to Tambor runway. The flight will take about thirty minutes. Sansa and Nature Air company offers daily fligts to Tambor. From Tambor you need to take a taxi to Santa Teresa-Mal País. The flight costs about $94 USD and the taxi about $45 USD.

By bus: From San José you can take a daily bus directly to Santa Teresa -Mal País.There are two trips a day. It costs about $10 USD and includes the ferry ride. The bus is comfortable and is air-conditioned.
